One group partnering with JCPenney is 4-H. "4-H is the national program across the country. We're serving over 7 million young people around the globe, not only in the United States, but on military installations worldwide," explains Byron Garrett.

Margo White, executive vice president for Junior Achievement of southern California, a JCPenney partner says, "We are reaching out to over 4 million children this year in grades kindergarten through 12th grade and we focus on providing free curriculum that teaches about business, economics, financial literacy and entrepreneurship."

Anna Araujo, a national associate for the Afterschool Alliance and the executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of East Los Angeles, also a partner with JCPenney, explains, "The Afterschool Alliance is a nonprofit that advocates for quality, affordable after-school programs for all children."


"Over 2500 YMCAs across the country will involve over 9 million children and their families, because we think that it's important to do with and not just for you," says JC Holt, senior vice president of YMCA Metropolitan Los Angeles, also a JCPenney partner.
