There is a lot of sexually abused young girls and boys that were abused by women. Why do you think the laws are so bad in regards to sexual assault The truth in that is the women get off with lighter sentences then the men do. Read the statistics if you don't believe me. Abuse is abuse, no matter what gender is performing the disgusting act! 

I think this is a bit harsh and over generalizing the male sector of this population. Believe it or not, all men aren't evil and don't abuse the women and children in their lives. Certainly we have heard about huge numbers of abusers in the last decade, however, to say that all men don't care isn't fair. And statistics can be skewed to fit any desired result. The laws aren't all bad concerning sexual assault, they have been radically changed in the last twenty years, and all the law makers aren't men. Some of the people who have let us down as a socitey are women. While you're checking statistics, check out how many women sexually assault the children in their lives. Based on the above quote then it stands to reason that women don't care and are pure evil. Because we tend to view women as caregivers and loving and nurturing, we tend to not think of them as possessing the capabilities of doing the same thing that the father on this show was accused of and admitted to. The bottom line is: it is YOUR responsibility to protect your children from predators, if you don't then don't blame me or my husband because we didn't do it to them...YOU did.  

When I took Abnormal Psychology the statistics on child molesters was something like this: 95% of molesters are men and the other 5% make up women. That has been a few years ago but it seems like there's more molesters than ever. The fact that they get away with little or no penalty is what makes me sick. 

I come from a home that my biological father molested me from my early teenage years about 12 to when I finally told my stepmom a couple years later. Unfortunately she didn't believe me and he denied it. Also physical and mental abuse was indured.  I tried to get CPS involved but These People got really good at lying their way out of numerous situations.  My stepmom also knew influencial people that thought things of this nature would never happen in this family. I even tried telling the school that went to CPS,  same thing nothing was done.  Parents of friends of mine even tried to no avail.  My Senior year of high school my father held a loaded hand gun to my head saying he would kill me.  At that time I wished he would I even told him that. I went to the State Police and filled out reports on this.  Same thing nothing was ever done.  Now I have three precious kids of my own that I try my hardest to protect.  I had nothing whatsoever to do with thim.  Then they took me to court for grandparents rights.  Can you believe they are now foster parents to other children and the judge gave them rights to my children.  I am so fearful  for my children.  But if I don't send them I am in contempt of the court.  I send them they may have to go through exactly what I did.  I was told in court that there wasn't  enough evidence and that happened a few years ago He could have changed.  The laws are made to protect the doers not the victims.

Please don't put every man in the same basket, some of us have experienced rape, phyisical and emotional abuse just as hurtfull to a boy/man as any girl/woman. With the words you are using you will keep the cycle of anger and hate going, so who ever hurt you is winning again, is that what you want. Self pity is very distructive, don't let the bastards win.
